MN Awards: The UK's Leading Film and TV Qualifications

MN Awards - Middleweek Newton - is the UK's first Ofqual-recognised awarding body that specializes in acting qualifications and film and TV training. Designed by industry professionals with extensive experience in film, television, and theatre, the MN Awards programme provides students with practical, modern training aimed at developing confidence, communication skills, creativity, and screen performance techniques. Qualifications are recognised within the Ofqual framework, with Level 3 grades carrying UCAS points.

At TATA, we primarily offer the Screen Acting pathway, equipping students with the acting qualifications necessary for authentic on-camera performance. Our curriculum focuses on building confidence, enhancing camera awareness, and developing technical control, effectively bridging the gap between stage and screen. This prepares young performers for the demands of the modern industry and the realities of film and TV training.

Our founder, Grace, shapes the programme with her extensive professional industry experience as an award-winning screen actor, having received the Best Actress award at the MN Awards programme.

We offer both group sessions and tailored 1:1 tuition to cover essential acting qualifications and film and TV training. Our experienced tutors provide expert guidance throughout the MN Awards programme, supporting students as they progress through graded qualifications and develop the skills needed for success both on and off screen.
