The Actor's Training Academy provides high quality training for actors in both educational and non-educational settings. We offer a range of different approaches and pride ourselves on working with highly experienced freelancers, teachers* and actors; as well as emerging, early career practitioners. Many of our team have trained, taught and worked professionally, gaining a wealth of experience in the theatre industry and/or the education section.
TATA's Youth Theatre classes provide a safe and positive environment where young people are able to explore a range of drama techniques, theatre genres and practitioners and their methods. The Youth Theatre aims to build the students confidence, develop key transferable skills and build on their knowledge.
The Education Hub works alongside primary schools, their teachers and their curriculum in order to provide bespoke workshops in a range of subjects, topics and literature. The aim of our workshops is to embed drama across the curriculum and to provide a setting which allows the students to develop an clear understanding of drama and to progress their learning.
All of our key teachers are trained in LAMDA and Arts Award. These are currently being offered as part of our 1:1 sessions.
*These will join our timetable from September 2023.
