what happens at tata?

The Actors Training Academy provides high quality training for actors of all ages and abilities in both educational and non-educational settings. We offer a range of different approaches and pride ourselves on working with highly experienced freelancers and teachers*. Many of our team have trained professionally and have a wealth of experience in the theatre industry and/or the education section.

TATA's main academy classes provide high quality, fun and inclusive sessions where young people are able to explore a range of drama techniques, theatre genres, practitioners and their methods. Our classes aims to build students confidence, develop key transferable skills and build on their knowledge of the theatre sector.

The Education Hub works alongside primary schools, their teachers and their curriculum in order to provide bespoke workshops in a range of subjects, topics and literature. The aim of our workshops is to embed drama across the curriculum and to provide a setting  which allows the students to develop an clear understanding of drama and to progress their learning.
